Neil Hoosier & Associates (NHA), Inc. has been awarded an 8(a) sole source contract provided by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to serve as the Program Integrity Operational Review Contractor.
NHA will be conducting an operational review of the Zone Program Integrity Contractors (ZPICs) and Program Safeguard Contractors (PSCs). This review will examine all policies and procedures implemented at a ZPIC or PSC, document the results of the review, and make recommendations on processes that impact the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the program in meeting CMS objectives to prevent and combat fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA). The review will include both Medicare and Medicare-Medicaid Data Match (MEDI-MEDI) policies and procedures.
