Summary:
Responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, automating test scripts and process plans for projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:

- Creates Test Cases, Test Plans, Test Strategies and QA Summary Documents
- Executes Functional Testing, User Interface Testing, Regression Testing and Smoke Testing on web applications
- Maps Test Cases back to support user stories and acceptance criteria
- Reports bugs and their status during stand-ups
- Participates in Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives
- Participates in walk-throughs and weekly status meeting; collaborates with developers, technical team, and Project Manager regarding day-to-day technical issues
- Elicits and communicates Stakeholder requirements
- Develops test framework using Ruby, Cucumber or TestNG and Selenium WebDriver; creates Automation Test Scripts; executes test scripts using TestNG
- Manages and provides integration with Jenkins for nightly execution, analysis, and Bug Report
- Develops test summaries and shares with all the stakeholders; analyzes errors and patterns by running multiple tests and tweaking the scenario to resolve issues
- Validates user interfaces and integrity against back-end database
- Collects test data from the data team and tests for multiple scenarios (positive and negative) for multiple user interface module fields
- Provides management with Daily Status Report and prepares the Test Summary Report at the end of each round of testing
- Provides frequent ongoing professional interaction with CMS teams and contractors
- Provides environment testing support with other teams and applications running out of BDC
- Become a subject matter expert on software applications through self-directed learning while remaining current with the application(s) as updates are made
Qualifications:
- 4-year (Bachelor’s) degree
- Proficient experience with Visual Studio, SQL, JIRA, JAVA, Test NG, Selenium
- Proficient experience with JAVA, PL/SQL, XML languages
- Proficient experience working with Ruby or Cucumber framework
- Proficient in MicroStrategy
- Technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a virtual environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Aids
- Proficient in most MS Office Software to include SharePoint
- Proficient in Atlassian Suite: Confluence, JIRA
- Ability to easily navigate in Quality Center – ALM tool
- Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within constant changing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with business and technical teams along with external stakeholders
- Working knowledge of both agile and waterfall development life cycle concepts
- Understanding of areas such as Healthcare, Medicare and Medicaid preferred
