As the Program Integrity Operational Review Contractor (PI ORC), NHA analyzed CMS’s Medicare-Medicaid program integrity processes and created a comprehensive list of best practices and recommendations, helping CMS redefine and improve its program integrity efforts.

As the Evaluation & Oversight (E&O) contractor, NHA developed auditing protocols to assess the accuracy of Qualified Independent Contractor (QIC) and Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) appeals decisions.
