The Defense Health Agency (DHA), formerly know as TRICARE Management Activity (TMA), was established in 2013 with the mission of managing enterprise-wide support of the Department of Defense’s (DOD) Military Health System (MHS), and overall medical mission.
In an effort to engage private sector organizations interested in learning about requirements for the Defense Health Information Technology Systems, Generation I (DHITS GEN I) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, the DHA will be hosting its 2nd annual Industry Day on February 17 at the Ronald Reagan Building in Washington, D.C. This contract vehicle will provide the DHA with the ability to procure systems integration, design, development, operations, and maintenance services. NHA will be specifically looking gain insight into the DHITS GEN I timeline, network with DOD MHS representatives, and learn more about the future of the overall Defense Medical Mission.
