As of September 16, 2015, the Small Business Administration (SBA) approved the Neil Hoosier & Associates (NHA) Mentor-Protégé Agreement with FEi Systems. This unique opportunity will be instrumental in assisting both NHA and FEI Systems in effectively competing within the marketplace, thus gaining a stronger foothold in government contracting.
The SBA 8(a) Mentor-Protégé program was designed to assist small businesses owned/controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals that are eligible to receive 8(a) small business contracts, in performing these contracts. The agreement is structured to have the ‘Mentor’ enhance the capabilities of its ‘Protégé’ (8(a) firm), thus improving their ability to successfully compete within federal contracting by providing various forms of assistance. Said assistance may include: technical and/or management assistance; financial assistance; subcontracting assistance; and/or assistance in performing prime contracts with the Government in the form of joint venture agreements.
